Late Paul Omotosho

The chairman of the Ekiti State chapter of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Paul Omotosho, is dead.
Omotosho who was was kidnapped sometimes in July 2023 and was released after five days in captivity, died in the early hours of Wednesday, March 6, 2024, after a brief illness.
He reportedly participated in a series of political meetings on Monday.
The Imesi Ekiti-born politician took ill on Tuesday and was rushed to a government hospital in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital, where he later died.
Confirming the APC chairman’s demise, the publicity secretary of the party in Ekiti State, Segun Dipe, said he could not give the cause of Omotosho’s death or any other information about the incident.
