Anuku, these are bad times.
So bad is the situation that the actor has literally gone in cap in hand seeking for financial assistance from Nigerians.
He appealed to Nigerians to support him financially, saying he has been jobless.
Life has not been good to the 63-year-old thespian.
A viral video had earlier emerged of the actor conversing with a stranger at a filling station in Asaba, the Delta State capital. The video depicted a sorry state of the entertainer.
Some said Anuku is a fuel attendant at the station.
But he followed up with another video on his Instagram page showing a better condition. In the video, he solicited for financial support.
His words: “I have worked for this country. I have attained the height of a legend. I implore Nigerians to support me, no amount is too small.”
He accompanied the video with a caption: “I thank u all fans n my guvnor sheriff. I have tried my best to uphold my status as an entertainer, so it’s good to let u all know what I’m going through.
