Singer Peter Martins, popularly known as D Bayons has congratulated the Governor- elect of Kogi State, Usman Ahmed Ododo and the Deputy Governor-elect, Joel Salifu Oyibo on their electoral victory at the just concluded Kogi State governorship election.
In a statement made available to NATIONAL WAVES, Martins said the victory was a testament to their wide acceptance by the people of Kogi State.
The statement reads “On behalf of my family and all members of my team i wish to congratulate Kogi State Governor-Elect His Excellency Usman Ahmed Ododo & the Deputy Governor-Elect His Excellency Joel Salifu Oyibo on their well deserved victory at the just concluded off season gubernatorial polls in Kogi State where you emerged victorious with a wide margin.
“This victory is a testament to your wide acceptance in the grassroots, and a good omen in our State.
“I have no iota of doubt in your capacity to effect developmental strides in your administration and place our dear Kogi State on the map of prosperous States in West Africa.
“I also seize same opportunity to thank and appreciate our indefatigable mentor and benefactor His Excellency Yahaya Adoza Bello
The Executive Governor of Kogi State for his sleepless nights of strategization to ensure a landslide victory for our party the APC.
“I thank all members of our campaign council most especially the D.G campaign Hon. Shaibu Abubakar Audu the Honorable Minister Of Steel Development for your restless efforts and total commitment which brought this golden victory. I also thank the State chairman of APC Hon Abdullai Bello for his great efforts leading into the victory of our party.
