The National Chairman of Social Democratic Party (SDP), Alhaji Shehu Musa Gaban has urged Nigerians to vote for Prince Adewole Adebayo, the presidential candidate of the SDP, as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria come Saturday February 25, 2023.
He said this was as a result of the reaffirmation of the SDP National Working Committee of the party, that the party was not in alliance with any political party.
Im a statement made available tt NATIONAL WAVES and signed by the party’s National Secretary, Dr Olu Agunloye, the national chairman aligned with the NWC and admonished members and supporters of the party to collect their PVC and vote Prince Adewole as the next president of Nigeria.
He urged members and supporters to vote for all SDP senatorial and House of Representatives candidates adding that a vote for SDP is a vote for the eradication of poverty, insecurity, provision of employment and youth empowerment.
He said “the country needs a new path and an alternative platforms with fresh ideas to heal the ills of the status quo”
The SDP NWC said “Nigerians should ŕealise that the country cannot afford to lead the people who seek liberation back to their oppressors by way of any alliance”
Gaban stated that “the party is the only alternative platform and is not only youth friendly but youth centered and its manifesto rooted in youth empowerment, women emancipation with a view to usher in peace, progress and prosperity in our country”
The chairman said “We have made sacrifice and laboured to build the party, we must stand by the party and vote for the party”
He urged Nigerians to eschew vote buying and vote for justice to choose the leader with undoubtedly superior manifesto in order to ultimately feel that they have voted for a credible alternative
