Thousands of young entrepreneurs converged in Abuja today to drum up support for activities that will galvanize Nigeria economy using agriculture as a fulcrum.
Coming under the name, faith and good works of destiny(FAGWOD), the group intends to create awareness that may reinvent the famous Operation Feed the Nation of old under the then Obasanjo Military regime.
Addressing a press conference on a topic titled: The Nigeria of Our Mission, the founder and leader of FAGWOD, Bishop Eberechris Edmund Agbakaizu said Nigerians must be involved in agriculture in order to return the country to the era of exporting nation
Agbakaizu said his group was poised to lead the way to Nigeria prosperity through Agriculture
He explained that his group had taken the campaign of “Nigeria of our vision” to all the nooks and crannies of Nigeria.
Although not political, the group leader said his members would support and mobilize for any presidential candidate that would genuinely make agriculture one of his cardinal programmes
He appealed for support from government in terms of funds and implements for a resounding success in the programme
