Dotun Olaribigbe aka Lobito Disco

Lagos Big Boy, Dotun Olaribigbe, popularly known as Lobito Disco, reportedly died after a brief sickness. NATIONAL WAVES gathered that Loboto who bestrode the social scene in the 80s never had premonition of his death. Lobito who’s the founder of Haridot Promotions died on Thursday after frantic efforts were made to curtail the ailment.
Lobito’s demise was made public by entertainment promoter, Bolaji Basia in a social media post.
“Rest well paddy mi Dotun Olaribigbe (Lobito),” Basia, one of the die hard fans of fuji music star K1 De Ultimate, wrote in tribute to the deceased.
Olaribigbe was very active on the social scene in the late 80s and 90s.

Olaribigbe contested the chairmanship of Surulere Local Government in 2017 on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He also contested the 2019 senatorial election to represent Lagos Central at the National Assembly on the platform of the Liberation Movement Party.
Olaribigbe was until his death the CEO of Bulls’ eye Security Solutions Ltd.
He died four days before his birthday July 11.
