The founder and presiding Bishop Living Faith Church Worldwide aka Winners Chapel, David Oyedepo today enjoined his congregation to pray against those fanning the ember of war and those agitating for Islamic Studies to be forced on all students by making it compulsory in education curriculum.
Oyedepo prayed against these earlier today, while presiding over the third service at the Faith Terbanacle, Ota Ogun State.
‘ Brethen Nigerian shall not witness war again, we have not forgotten what happened during the civil war, God will avert war in Nigeria in Jesus name. God give those elected the wisdom to run the affairs of the country. We shall not witness war in this country; those behind this move will fail.
Nigerians are free to live whenever they want, those asking others to leave their states will fail. We are good as one indivisible country, Nigerians shall not be divided” these prayers were intermittently followed by a thunderous Amen from the congregation.
Oyedepo also prayed against those trying to force the Islamic Studies on all students irrespective of his or her religion
“Those also forcing Islamic Studies on every student will also fail. God shall not allow it. Every Nigerian is free to choose his religion, so those trying to force religion on Nigerians will fail in Jesus name” We Christians invest more in Education, we have more number of schools, you hardly see Christians behind any major crisis. We always sue for peace, we live in peace and will never shed blood for whatever reasons,
The clergy man also prayed to God to revamp the economy. “God will take us out of recession. Our economic shall be great again in Jesus name”.
