Former Abia State governor, Senator Theodore Orji is currently cooling his heels in the cell of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, after he was re-arrested at Abuja airport on Thursday.
Orji and his son, Chinedu, speaker of Abia House of Assembly, are being quizzed over N48billion security vote.
The money was collected from Abia treasury over eight years..
Despite frantic efforts by the former governor to secure bail, the EFCC appears not to be in a hurry to release him.
The spokesman for the Commission Wilson Uwajuren threw more light on Orji’s arrest on Thursday.
He said he was also arrested for mismanaging N2 billion Ecological Funds and conversion of Sure-P funds.
He said Orji also violated his bail conditions after his earlier arrest
