FEDERAL HIGH COURT ABUJA STRIKES OUT CHARGES AGAINST NATIONAL WAVES MAGAZINE

After two years of legal battle, Justice A. Abdu Kafarati of the Federal High Court Abuja yesterday struck out the charges of alleged Criminal Defamation and forgery leveled against National WAVES Magazine and two of its staff, Emmanuel Fateman, Assistant Editor and Joseph Jolayemi, Deputy Head Graphic over a story published on Alhaji Aliyu Abubakar, the Chairman of A, A Oil sometime in August 2014.

Details of the judgement will be provided in due course.

The management and staff of National WAVES Magazine sincerely thank Barrister Festus Keyamo who assigned one of his brilliant lawyers, Barrister Festus Ukpe to us without charging professional fee (a dime).
