Former Federal Capital Territory Minister, Bala Mohammed, was yesterday arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
As at the time of filling this report, reasons for his arrest was sketchy but unconfirmed source squealed it has to do with his stewardship as FCT Minister.
Another source said Mr. Mohammed’s detention was still being processed at about 8:45 p.m. on Monday. He is expected to spend at least Monday night at the commission’s office.
The EFCC spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren, could not be reached for comment late Monday.
some staff of FCT and AGIS have been interrogated over their roles while Senator Mohammed was in office as FCT Minister.
