National Correctional Service Centre in Okitipupa attacked by thugs

Suspected hoodlums broke into the National Correctional Service Centre in Okitipupa, the headquarters of Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State, and forcefully released the inmates.
According to reports, many inmates were released from prison during the attack, and a car was burnt as violence erupt.
Several items were also destroyed during the attack on the prison premises,
The Public Relations Officer of the Ondo State Command of NCS, Ogundare Babatunde confirmed the incident to newsmen.
