The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has declared wanted a Nigerien citizen and businessman, Aboubakar Hima, over a case of alleged criminal conspiracy, contract scam, misappropriation of public funds, money laundering and fraud to the tune of $394m, £9.9m, N369m.
Hima, who is the Chief Executive Officer of Societe D Equipment Internationaux, SEI is alleged to have received the sums for the purchase of equipment for the Nigerian Military.
According the EFCC, there were discrepancies in the supply of the equipment.
EFCC source squealed that Hima failed to honour invitation from the commission and has been evading investigation, hence he was declared wanted.
The 46 years old, Abuja based businessman speaks French and Hausa Languages but not fluent in speaking English language.
