The entire household of Nigeria’s former minister of foreign affairs and secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party’s Board of Trustees, Chief Ojo Madueke is thrown into mourning as he passed on few minutes age at the age of 71.
Madueke died in his Abuja home on Wednesday night shortly after his return from the US.
The erstwhile proponent of bicycle riding, Madueke turned 71 this year, specifically on May 6th. He was born in 1945.
Madueke was formerly minister of culture and tourism and later, held sway as the minister of transportation. It was during his days at the transportation ministry that he introduced bicycle into the national transportation sector of the country.
