The Ogun state Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun yesterday took another giant steps in his administration s mission at taking the Gateway state to the promised land with the appointment chairmen and members to seven (7)statutory Boards, Agences and Commissions in the state.
In a statement signed and released by Kunle Somorin the chief press secretary to Governor, Governor Abiiodun has approved given consent to the appointment of chairmen and members of 7 statutory Boards commissions and Agencies that would stand as first batch to be announced adding that “”other appointments will be made in due course “”
The commissions and statutory boards and their chairmen include Ogun state civil service commission, Tokunoh Odebunmi as chairman, Local Government Service Commission with Bukky Onabanjo as chairperson, Teaching Service Commission with .Lekan Ifede as chairman ,others include Ogun State Housing Corporation with Chief Yemi Sanusi as chairman ,Ogun State Management Board with Dr.Kunle Salako as chairman Ogun State Agro Services Corporation with Chief kehinde Adebajo ss chairman while the former Environment commissioner in the erstwhile OGD administration Engr. Anthony Ojesina will now sit atop the Ogun state Bulk purchasing Board.
While congratulating the new appointees, Governor Abiiodun enjoined them to see their appointment as a call to service for the development of the state and its people with a charge to them to also see their new position as another opportunity to improve the lives and conditions of those who need it most.
‘The appointees are drawn across the major political tendencies in the state in consonance with the inclusive governance, philosophy of the government which emphasizes a leadership paradigm to a focused and qualitative governance “”the statement added.
