2023 Elections: Tinubu Wins First Local Govt Area

The Presidential Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the Candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), has been declared winner of the election in Efon Alaaye Local Government Area of Ekiti State.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced that Tinubu polled 5873, followed by Atiku Abubakar, his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) rival, who polled 2521 votes.

Peter Obi of Labour Party had 251 votes while Rabiu Kwankwaso of New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) garnered just three votes.

Only 9000 voters were accredited from the 29,996 who got registered for the election.
