Bukunmi Oluwasina

Bukunmi Oluwasina is a Nigerian actress, movie producer, singer, musician, playwright, and model. She is the third in a family of seven. She is a native of Ekiti state (Oke-Imesi). Bukunmi studied Theatre Arts at Obafemi Awolowo University. She produced one of the most trending movies titled Ayomi (My joy). The movie was shot in July 2014 in Lagos, Nigeria, and officially released into the market on the 21st of September 2015. This movie brought her to limelight after its popularity and demand grew in the industry. Bukunmi is one of the emerging big names in the Yoruba movie industry in Nigeria.

Adebimpe Oyebade

Adebimpe Oyebade was born in Ijero Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria. This talented actress studied English at Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado Ekiti. She is very popular in the Yoruba movie industry for her ability to interpret roles effectively. Among numerous movies she has featured in, she is popular for playing for “onikede”, a lead role in a movie entitled in a movie titled “Agbede Meji” which was produced by Yomi Fabiyi. Adebimpe is an inspiration to young girls who wish to pursue a career in the movie industry.

 

Biola Adebayo

Biola Adebayo is a producer and actress. She is among the prettiest and popular actresses in the Yoruba movie industry. She began her acting in 2002 when she first featured in an English movie before moving into the Yoruba movie industry where she rose to limelight. Biola had her primary and secondary education in Lagos and in the North, She also has a first and second degree from the University of Lagos. The movie that brought her to limelight was Eyin-Oka which was released in 2004. She has produced five movies. Their titles are March 15th, (in 2008), Jokotolo (in 2016), Two Weeks (in 2016), Sixteen (in 2017) and One Hour (in 2018).

Olaitan Ogungbile

Olaitan Ogungbile is popularly called ‘Olaitan Sugar’ by fans and colleagues in the industry. She hails from Ife Odan, in Ejigbo Local Government Area of Osun State. She is a movie producer, actress and model. Olaitan studied Botany at Obafemi Awolowo University. She began her acting career in 2008 when she joined Muyiwa Ademola Authentic School of Drama. She got her nickname “Olaitan Sugar” after playing a lead role in a movie entitled “Sugar” which was produced by Sunny Ali. She has starred in several other movies among which are Aye, Onawura, Ati Juwi, Eyinju Eledumare, and Laye Lorun. She has been nominated for various awards, and has also won a number of them. She won ‘Best Actress of the Year’ at Scream awards, and in 2016 she won an indigenous award for most beautiful Yoruba actress.

 

Adunni Ade

Adunni Ade (real name Adunni Adewale) was born to an American/German mother and a Nigerian Father in Queens, New York. She is a model and talented actress. After her primary education at Chrisland School, Ikeja, Lagos State, she went to Bells Secondary School in Ota before moving to America, where she studied accounting at the University of Kentucky. While in the US, Adunni did a little bit of modeling before returning to Nigeria to make her debut into the entertainment industry in 2013. She began by uploading her short comedy sketches online before she was spotted by Nigerian film makers  saw a promising talent in her. The first movie she was featured in was “You or I”, which was produced by Saheed Balogun. From then she began to soar in rating and popularity in the Nollywood industry before growing into a household brand.

 

Eniola Ajao

Eniola Ajao hails from Epe Local Government Area of Lagos State. She and her twin sister are the youngest in a family of family. Eniola attended Saint Michael’s Anglican Primary School, in Epe, after which she went to Army Secondary School, also located in Epe. Jaiye Kuti made her acting debut in 2014 when she appeared in the TV series Tales of Eve:8 Caged. Due to her versatile acting skills, she was later appointed as an ambassador at the Lagos State Polytechnic in 2016.
